Join us for a special project as we recognize Breast Cancer Awareness month.

I will be sharing tips and tricks for a number of techniques found in the Scout quilt pattern by Cluck, Cluck, Sew.  While you do not need to have the pattern to view this course, I will NOT be sharing measurements or information specific to the pattern during the class. I want to protect the integrity of our course and honor the pattern makers work and designs. 

I will be referring you to the pattern for specific instructions. You will need to purchase your own copy of the pattern if you intend to piece your own top. You can purchase the pattern from MK Quilts HERE or directly from the designers HERE.


As part of our With a Grateful Heart: Quilting For a Cause program, we at MK Quilts are honoring breast cancer survivors, backing those who are currently going through the fight, and remembering loved ones who have lost their battle by donating a portion of the sale of the Breast Cancer Fabric Kits available online or in our shop. It is with a grateful heart that a donation will be made to the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute in Tampa, Florida.


We urge everyone to educate yourselves and your loved ones about breast cancer, including early identification and signs and symptoms associated with it.

MK Quilts has put together a fabulous Breast Cancer Awareness kit that includes: all of the fabric necessary to make the top, fabric for the binding, and the featured pattern Scout. 

The fabrics in the kit are from the newly released Patches of Hope collection by Windham Fabrics as well as some perfectly paired solids. This fabric collection works beautifully in the herringbone Scout pattern.
